Bilkent is one of the most multicultural universities in Turkey that welcomes students from all around the world. In this mural, me and my friend Oyku aimed to emphasize how our university creates a peaceful environment for us and help us build strong relationships.
Harmony of different traditions was also taken into consideration as what makes Bilkent a family.
Even though the contest took part in December 2019 before COVID-19, we only had the chance to finish this project in July 2022. It was such an honor and joy to be invited as alumni 2021.
Special thanks to our instructor and project coordinator, Ekin Kilic Ezer besides our friends Gulce Ozdemir, Murat Togay, Ege Kayisoglu, Aybuke Yilmazer, Dogukan Demirel and Batuhan Yagici to help us bring this project to life.
